SSC Releases Revised PET/PST Results: SSC has released the revised result of the Sub-Inspector Recruitment Exam 2024 in Delhi Police and CAPFs. Earlier this result was declared on 2 September 2024, in which a total of 83,614 candidates were found qualified under various categories. Subsequently, the Physical Endurance Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST) were conducted by the CAPFs for these candidates. Then, the result of the candidates shortlisted for Paper II of the exam was released on 3 February 2025.

BSF identified the mistake

SSC was informed by the nodal force Border Security Force (BSF) that an error was found in the PET/PST data. In the data provided by the BSF, 144 candidates were erroneously shown as qualified while they were not meeting the height standards prescribed in Para 12.10.1 of the Notice of Examination. This was an inadvertent mistake, which was identified by the BSF and brought to the notice of the Commission.

144 candidates disqualified

Correcting this mistake, SSC released the revised result and disqualified 144 candidates. Now these candidates will not be able to appear in Paper II. The Commission clarified that as per the revised list, the PET/PST result of these candidates has been canceled and they are not eligible to participate in the next stage of the examination.

No effect on the rest of the results

SSC also clarified that all other conditions and information of the result released on 3 February 2025 will remain applicable as before. Only the result of 144 candidates has been revised, while the process of the Paper-II examination for the rest of the candidates will continue as planned earlier.
