SSC: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has made significant changes to the document scrutiny and document verification (DV) process for the Phase XIII/2025 Selection Post Examination. Candidates' documents will now be scrutinized directly by the respective user departments, who will submit their reports to the Commission. This new process was implemented under the examination notification issued on June 2, 2025, and will be effective for all subsequent recruitments.
New Document Upload and Verification System
After the results of the Computer-Based Examination (CBE) are declared, candidates will upload their documents to the SSC portal as before. The SSC will then forward these documents to the respective user departments. The departments will scrutinize the documents according to the eligibility criteria and conditions specified in the examination notification and prepare a provisional acceptance/rejection list.
Final List to be Released After Scrutiny
The provisional list will be posted on the Regional Office (RO) website. If any candidate has any objection, they can submit a representation directly to the concerned department. After reviewing all representations, the department will prepare a final acceptance/rejection list and send it to the RO, which will be published on the website.
Skill Tests to be Conducted by Position
For positions requiring a skill test, the relevant department or SSC (having jurisdiction) will conduct the test. Candidates whose documents are found to be in order will then be called for Document Verification (DV). After the DV is completed, the department will send the report to the RO, and a selection list will be released.
