The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has reopened the application window for the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) recruitment examination. This is a great opportunity for candidates who have not yet applied for the SSC CGL 2026. The Commission announced the reopening of the application window via a post on X (formerly Twitter), stating that the online application window for the CGL Examination, 2026, has been reopened. According to the SSC, over 28 lakh candidates had submitted applications for this exam by June 22.

**Important Exam Details**
The notification for the Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2026, was released on May 21.
The online application window was initially open from May 21 to June 22.
The application deadline has now been extended to June 25, 2026 (until 11:00 PM).
The deadline for fee payment is June 26, 2026 (until 11:00 PM).
The application correction window will be open from July 1 to July 3, 2026 (until 11:00 PM).
The Tier-1 examination is expected to be held in August–September 2026.

**Reason for Extending the Deadline**
According to the Commission, it received numerous requests from candidates stating that they were unable to submit their applications within the stipulated timeframe due to various reasons. After considering the matter, the Commission decided to reopen the online application window for the Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2026, for two days. This decision was taken in the interest of the candidates.

The Commission has also clarified that all other terms and conditions mentioned in the Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2026 notice dated May 21, 2026, remain unchanged. No changes of any kind have been made to them.
