SSC Exam Guidelines Notice: Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has issued new and strict guidelines for its upcoming recruitment examinations like CHSL, CGL, MTS, CPO, etc. Now live photography will be done to further strengthen security during the examination. Candidates will be photographed at the time of entry into the examination hall, during the examination, and at the end.
The commission has made it clear that violation of any rule can not only cancel the candidature, but legal action can also be taken. It will be mandatory for the candidates to reach the examination center on time. No one will be allowed to enter after the gate is closed.
Live photography and security checks will be strict.
There will be a system of video surveillance and frisking (physical examination) at the examination centers. The examination will be canceled immediately on any kind of improper behavior or copying, and the candidate may also be deprived of future SSC examinations.
What is prohibited from carrying?
Mobile phones, smart watches, books, pens, electronic gadgets, etc., will be completely banned in the examination center. Only transparent water bottle is allowed.
Disabled candidates will get extra time.
Disabled candidates will have to bring the certificate in the standard format of the Commission. They will get extra time of 20 minutes per hour and will be provided with the facility of a scribe (clerical assistant) as per requirement. But the scribe cannot be the same person who is a candidate of SSC exam.
Which ID proofs are valid?
Candidates have to bring the original copy of the admit card and a valid photo identity card to the examination center. The list of valid identity cards is as follows:
Aadhaar card
Passport
Voter ID
Driving license
PAN card
ID card issued by government/college/school
If the date of birth recorded on the ID does not match the date of birth on the admit card, then the candidate will have to bring the original copy of 10th mark sheet or birth certificate (issued by recognized board or government institution only).
