SSC MTS Exam Postponed: Uncertainty is growing among candidates regarding the Staff Selection Commission's (SSC) Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) and Havildar Recruitment Exam 2025. Neither the SSC MTS Admit Card 2025 nor the City Intimation Slip has been released yet. As per the schedule, the admit card was supposed to be released 3-5 days before the exam date.

Now, speculation is rife that, like the SSC CHSL exam, the MTS-Havildar exam may also be postponed. However, the Commission has not officially confirmed this.

SSC MTS Exam Date 2025: Exam to be held from September 20
According to the schedule released by the Commission, the SSC MTS Exam 2025 will be held from September 20 to October 24, 2025. The exam will be conducted in two sessions. There will be no negative marking for candidates in the first session (Session-1), while 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer in the second session (Session-2).

SSC MTS Havaldar Recruitment 2025: Post Details

SSC MTS Selection Process: How will the selection process be conducted?
Under the SSC MTS and Havildar Recruitment 2025, candidates will be selected based on a Computer-Based Examination (CBE), Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/Physical Standard Test (PST), and document verification. Only CBE is required for the MTS post, while CBE along with PET and PST will be mandatory for the Havildar post. After clearing the selection process, candidates will be called for document verification. Finally, selected candidates will receive a Level-1 salary as per the 7th Pay Commission pay matrix.

SSC MTS Examination Scheme: Exam Pattern
The SSC MTS and Havildar exams will be computer-based and conducted in two sessions. Each session is scheduled for 45 minutes, and a total of 90 questions will be asked. The exam will be conducted in 13 regional languages, including Hindi and English. For the Havildar post, the CBE will be followed by a physical test, in which candidates will be evaluated on parameters such as race, height, and weight.
