SSC JHT Paper II City Intimation Slip 2025: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the exam city information for the second stage of the Junior Hindi Translator (JHT) recruitment examination. Candidates can download their City Intimation Slip from the official SSC website, ssc.gov.in. This facility is available for candidates who have successfully cleared Paper I and are now appearing for the descriptive Paper II.
Apply for Scribe Immediately, Previous Applications Cancelled
The Commission has clarified that candidates requiring a scribe must register again immediately. All previous registrations made before November 5, 2025, have been cancelled. According to the SSC, scribe registration is now integrated with the Aadhaar authentication system; therefore, every aspiring scribe must register anew.
Exam on December 14
Paper-II will be conducted on December 14, 2025. The admit card and scribe entry pass are expected to be released 2-3 days before the exam date. The selection process is underway for a total of 552 vacancies in this stage, and only candidates who have qualified in Paper-I will be eligible to participate.
JHT Paper-II will assess candidates' translation ability and essay writing skills. This exam will be of 200 marks and will have a duration of two hours. Candidates' language proficiency and subject knowledge will be evaluated in a descriptive format.
