SSC JE Exam 2024: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the admit card for the SSC Junior Engineer Recruitment Exam to be held from June 5 to June 7. Candidates who have applied for this recruitment exam can get their admit card by visiting the official website of SSC ssc.gov.in. Through the SSC JE Recruitment Exam, the vacant posts of Junior Engineer are to be filled in various departments of the Government of India. This exam consists of two papers - Paper I and Paper II. Paper I is objective, while Paper II is descriptive. There is also a negative marking in Paper I. One mark is given to the candidate for each correct answer, while 0.25 marks are deducted for giving the wrong answer.

The pattern of SSC JE Paper I
Paper I of the SSC JE Recruitment Exam is in computer-based mode. The exam is for a total of 200 marks, which includes questions from General Intelligence and Reasoning for 50 marks, General Awareness for 50 marks, and General Engineering (Civil, Electrical, and Mechanical) for 100 marks. Each question carries one mark. Candidates get two hours to solve Paper I.

The pattern of SSC JE Paper II
Paper II of the SSC JE recruitment exam is descriptive. This paper is for two hours, and contains questions for a total of 300 marks. The paper contains questions from General Engineering (Civil, Electrical and Mechanical).
