There is a major update for candidates awaiting the Delhi Police Constable Recruitment 2025. The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the results for the Delhi Police Constable (Executive) Male and Female Recruitment Examination 2025. Candidates who qualified in the Computer-Based Test (CBT) will now be called for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST), and Document Verification (DV). A total of 7,201 posts are to be filled through this recruitment process. The Commission prepared the results by normalizing the marks from exams held across various shifts and has shortlisted a large number of candidates for the next stage.
The Delhi Police Constable recruitment exam was conducted from December 18, 2025, to January 6, 2026, at various centers across the country. More than 27.25 lakh candidates had applied for this recruitment. Upon releasing the results, the Commission shortlisted 66,076 candidates for the next stage; this includes 43,841 male and 22,235 female candidates. This figure is approximately 9.18 times the total number of vacancies.

This time, the cut-off marks for the General (UR) and OBC categories in the male section were identical, which took many candidates by surprise.

**What does the physical test entail?**
Candidates who have succeeded in the written examination must now undergo a Physical Efficiency Test (PET).

Physical Standard Test (PST) Rules
Male candidates must have a minimum height of 170 cm. For men, the chest measurement must be 81 cm (unexpanded) and 85 cm (expanded). The minimum height for female candidates is set at 157 cm.
Preparation of Final Merit List and Salary Details
The final merit list will be prepared solely based on the marks obtained in the CBT (Computer-Based Test). The PET and PST will be qualifying in nature. In the event of a tie in marks, the scores in Part-A will be considered first, followed by Part-B. Subsequently, preference will be given to the older candidate. If the tie persists, the decision will be based on alphabetical order.
Selected candidates will receive a salary package ranging from ₹21,700 to ₹69,100 under Level-3. Additionally, bonus marks will be awarded: 5% for NCC 'C' certificate holders, 3% for 'B' certificate holders, and 2% for 'A' certificate holders.
