SSC GD Constable 2026: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has revised the examination date for the Constable (GD) Recruitment Examination 2026. According to an important notice issued by the Commission, the recruitment examination for Constables (GD) in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), SSF, and Riflemen (GD) in the Assam Rifles—which was originally scheduled to be held on May 28, 2026—will now be conducted on May 27, 2026.

SSC took this decision following a change in the holiday date for Eid-ul-Zuha (Bakrid) announced by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT). The Commission has advised candidates to take note of the revised examination date and appear for the exam accordingly.

Admit Cards to be Issued 2-3 Days Before the Exam
In its notice, the Commission stated that the admit cards for the examination scheduled for May 27, 2026, will be released on the official website 2 to 3 days before the examination date. Candidates will be able to download their admit cards through their respective login modules.
