Recruitment for This Many Vacancies
The SSC will conduct recruitment for a total of 25,487 vacancies for the post of GD Constable. Additionally, in the written examination for the GD Constable post, candidates will be asked 80 questions carrying a total of 160 marks. The examination features a negative marking scheme wherein one-fourth (1/4) of a mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer. The duration of the examination has been set at one hour.

The SSC has activated the self-slot booking link. Candidates can utilize the self-slot booking facility from April 11 to April 15, 2026. This facility is available for a limited time only. Therefore, all candidates are advised to book their slot for the examination as soon as possible.
