The objection window is also open.
SSC has also opened a window for candidates to raise objections regarding the exam. If a candidate finds an error in the answer key, they can submit an objection by paying a nominal fee per question. If the objection is found to be valid, the fee will be refunded, and the answer key will be revised accordingly.

When will the objection window remain open?
SSC has announced that the objection window will remain open from June 15 to June 20. Candidates are required to pay a fee of ₹50 per question to object. Furthermore, to substantiate their claim, candidates must submit valid evidence—such as a reference document—related to the specific question. The SSC GD exam was conducted in four phases from April 27 to May 30, 2026, and the cut-off marks will be determined based on the exam's difficulty level, the number of vacancies, and the number of candidates who appeared for the test.

Which departments will the recruitment cover?
This examination is used to recruit candidates for the posts of Constable and Rifleman across eight major Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and related government departments. The departments involved in the recruitment include the Border Security Force (BSF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Assam Rifles, SSF, and the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB).
