SSC Exam Schedule 2026: If you are waiting for government jobs, then there is big news for you in the new year. The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the official schedule for all its major recruitment exams to be held at the beginning of 2026. This includes the dates for the SSC CGL, MTS, and GD Constable recruitment exams. Candidates preparing for government jobs have been waiting for this schedule for a long time. SSC CGL 2025 (Tier-II) Schedule
The Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Tier-2 exam will begin in January. On January 18, 2026, the Skill Test (DEST) under Section IV of Paper-I will be conducted. This will be a computer-based test. The next day, January 19, 2026, the main subjects exam will be held, which will include questions related to Mathematics, Reasoning, English, General Knowledge, and Computers. Paper-II for Statistics will also be held on the same day.
SSC MTS and Havildar Exam
The written examination for Multi-Tasking Staff (Non-Technical) and Havildar posts will be held in February. The exam will begin on February 4, 2026. Candidates who have applied for the exam will be able to choose their preferred exam time from January 15, 2026.
SSC GD Constable Exam 2026
The commission has also announced the dates for those who have applied for Constable (GD) posts in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), SSF, and Assam Rifles. According to the commission, this exam may start from February 23, 2026. This date is currently tentative; the final date will be announced later.
Delhi Police Constable Admit Card
