SSC: Do not share SSC question papers on social media, you may be fined up to Rs 1 crore! Commission issues warning..

SSC: Staff Selection Commission (SSC), in a recent notice, has warned people and institutions that share discussions and analysis on the question papers of the currently ongoing examinations of SSC on social media. The commission has asked to avoid discussing, analyzing, and sharing the question papers of the currently ongoing examinations. Along with this, the commission has said that strict action can be taken against those doing so, and a fine can also be imposed.
According to the recent notice of the commission, those doing so can be punished with imprisonment for up to 0 years and a fine of Rs 1 crore. The commission has issued this warning after it found that many people are sharing the content of SSC question papers on social media platforms for discussion and analysis.
The official statement of SSC said, "It has come to the notice of the Commission that certain individuals are discussing, analysing, or disseminating on social media the contents of question papers of examinations conducted/ongoing by the Staff Selection Commission. All such activities are strictly prohibited under the provisions of the Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act, 2024 (PEA Act, 2024)."

Public Examinations Act, 2024
As per the provisions of the Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act, 2024 (PEA Act, 2024), several activities are strictly prohibited.
Section 3 - Unfair Means
It prohibits the leaking, disclosure, access to, possession, or dissemination of question papers, answer keys, or any part thereof without permission.
Section 9 - Nature of Offences
All offences under this Act are cognizable, non-bailable, and non-compoundable.
Section 10 - Penalty
If found guilty, individuals will be punished with imprisonment of 3 to 5 years and a fine of Rs 10 lakh.
Institutions will be fined up to Rs 1 crore, disqualified from future examinations, and recover costs.
Under organised crime, the imprisonment is 5 to 10 years and the fine will not be less than Rs 1 crore.
