SSC Delhi Police: Delhi Police Head Constable AWO/TPO Results Released; 6,500+ Candidates Selected for the Next Stage..
SSC Delhi Police HC AWO TPO Result: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the results for the Computer-Based Examination (CBE) conducted for the Delhi Police Head Constable (Assistant Wireless Operator/Tele-Printer Operator) Recruitment 2025. Through this examination, over 6,500 candidates have been shortlisted for the next stage: the Physical Endurance and Measurement Test (PE&MT), Document Verification, and Trade Test. The PDF of the results is available below.
**Examination Held in January**
This computer-based examination was conducted by the SSC across various examination centers nationwide, in multiple shifts, from January 15, 2026, to January 22, 2026. Taking into account the variations in difficulty levels across the different shifts, the Commission implemented a normalization process. Based on this process, the final scores of the candidates were calculated, and the merit list was prepared.
**Over 6,500 Candidates Selected for the Next Stage**
The Commission has released a total of five separate lists. These lists cover female candidates, male candidates, ESM (Ex-Servicemen) candidates, and departmental candidates. A total of 6,543 candidates have been declared eligible for the next stage of the recruitment process:
* 2,033 candidates were declared successful in the Female Open Category. In this category, the UR (Unreserved) cutoff was 70.57558, and the EWS cutoff was 70.35837.
* 3,376 candidates were selected in the Male Open Category. The UR cutoff was 79.21073, and the OBC cutoff was 77.42887.
* 501 candidates were successful in the Male ESM Category.
* 213 candidates in the Female Departmental Category and 420 candidates in the Male Departmental Category have qualified for the next stage.
The SSC has also clarified that certain candidates belonging to reserved categories—who qualified at the Unreserved (UR) cutoff level and met the UR age limit criteria—have been counted within their respective original categories. Qualifying Marks Subsequently Lowered
Initially, the Commission had set a minimum qualifying threshold of 40 percent for the General and EWS categories, while stipulating 35 percent for the SC, ST, and OBC categories. Additionally, a minimum of 30 percent marks was prescribed for Ex-Servicemen (ESM) candidates.
However, as an insufficient number of candidates were selected in certain categories, the SSC provided a relaxation in the cutoff criteria. Consequently, the minimum qualifying marks were reduced to 30 percent for EWS candidates, and to 20 percent for SC, ST, OBC, and ESM candidates.
Action Taken Against Candidates Involved in Irregularities
The Commission has also taken strict action regarding irregularities observed during the examination. According to the SSC, a post-examination analysis revealed that 60 candidates were involved in malpractice. Currently, their results have not been processed; however, they will be provided an opportunity to present their side of the matter.
Furthermore, the result of one candidate has been withheld due to suspicious activities, while eight other candidates have been debarred for various reasons.
What Happens Next?
Candidates who have qualified in the results will now be eligible to appear for the Physical Endurance & Measurement Test (PE&MT), Document Verification, and Trade Test. These stages will be conducted by the Delhi Police. Information regarding the test dates and admit cards will be released shortly on the official website.
The SSC has also announced that candidates holding an NCC certificate or a degree/diploma from the Rashtriya Raksha University (RRU) will be awarded bonus marks in the final result; however, they must submit the relevant documents during the PE&MT to avail of this benefit.
The Commission will soon upload the final answer keys, question papers, and the marks obtained by all candidates on its website. Candidates are advised to regularly check the official websites of the Delhi Police and the SSC for further updates.
