SSC CHT 2025: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has finalized the next stage for the Combined Hindi Translator (CHT) Exam 2025. According to the official notice released by the Commission, Paper-II (Descriptive Test) will be conducted on December 14, 2025. This will assess candidates' writing and translation skills in Hindi and English.

The Commission has advised candidates who have passed Paper-I or are awaiting results to begin their preparations as per the official schedule. Regarding Paper-II, the Commission clarified that this exam will be descriptive in nature, with special emphasis on language proficiency and translation ability.

In an earlier update, the SSC had stated that a total of 437 posts will be filled through this exam, which will be appointed in various ministries, departments, and organizations of the Central Government. The Commission also clarified that:

Paper-I (Computer-Based Examination) will be conducted on August 12, 2025.
This examination will be based on Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
Negative marking will apply for each wrong answer.
Online applications were accepted from June 5 to June 26, 2025.
Application corrections were available from July 1 to 2, 2025.
