SSC CGL 2025 Exam: A new update has come out regarding the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Exam 2025 of the Staff Selection Commission (SSC). SSC CGL exam will be conducted in September. SSC has made all the preparations for this. For example, admit cards have started being sent to the candidates for the exam. At the same time, there is a preparation to conduct the SSC CGL exam in a single shift.

Let us know what the new update is regarding SSC CGL? When was this exam to be held earlier? When is the new schedule expected to be released?

SSC CGL was to be held on 13 August

THE SSC CGL 2025 exam was earlier scheduled to be held on 13 August. Its admit cards were issued, but four days before the exam, SSC announced the postponement of the exam. SSC had argued for postponing the CGL 2025 exam because some candidates had faced problems during the Phase 13 exam held from July 24 to August 1. In such a situation, the exam will be conducted again for these candidates. For these candidates, SSC has conducted the exam again on 29 August.

THE SSC CGL exam will be held in one shift in September.

A new update has come out regarding SSC CGL 2025. In an interview with a media organization, SSC Chairman S Gopalakrishnan has said that SSC CGL will be held in September. He also added that this exam will be held in one shift in September.

Exam centers will not be more than 100 km away.

SSC Chairman S Gopalakrishnan has taken seriously the complaints related to the allotment of examination centers up to 500 km away to the candidates for the exam. In an interview with a media organization, he said that 80 percent of the candidates are being allotted exam centers of their choice. After CGL, 90 percent of the candidates will be allotted exam centers of their choice, the distance of which will also be reduced to 100 kilometers.

The exam will be conducted in CBT mode.
SSC exams will be computer-based only. SSC Chairman S Gopalakrishnan has rejected the possibility of a return to pen-paper mode. He said that this will increase the dangers, like paper leaks, whereas CBT can ensure the security of the exam, and the result can be released on time.

2 crore candidates appear in SSC exam every year
SSC Chairman S Gopalakrishnan said that the commission conducts many exams every year. 2 crore candidates appear in these exams every year. At the same time, 60 lakh candidates appear in 15 to 16 main exams. Out of this, 1.5 lakh appointments are made.
