SSC CGL Exam 2025: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has clarified that the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Examination 2025 is being conducted in a completely smooth manner. The commission has denied the news spreading on social media, claiming that examinations have been canceled on a large scale.
The commission informed that out of the total 2,435 shifts to be conducted so far, only 25 shifts have been canceled. 7,705 candidates affected by these have already been given new exam dates.
According to the commission, instead of the 260 examination centers announced earlier, the exam is now being conducted at 227 centers. That is, 33 examination centers have been removed. Despite this, the commission assured the candidates that the examination is going on as per its scheduled schedule.
The exam will run till September 26
It is worth noting that the SSC CGL 2025 exam has started from September 12 and it will run till September 26. This time around, 28 lakh candidates have applied from all over the country. The exam is being conducted in three shifts, and so far lakhs of students have appeared in it.
The commission informed that no center was canceled in the examination held on September 15. The examination was conducted normally at all the centers across the country.
3 lakh candidates have given the exam
More than 28 lakh candidates are expected to appear in this recruitment process. SSC officials said that so far, 3,01,722 candidates have given the examinations smoothly.
Complaints of technical problems in the exam
In the first two days of the examination, many students complained of technical glitches and mismanagement. One or all three shifts had to be canceled at some centers in Delhi-NCR, Gurugram, West Bengal, and Jammu. The affected students will get an opportunity to appear for the exam again between September 22 and 27.
