According to the latest official notice issued by the Commission, candidates who were unable to fill out their forms within the original deadline for any reason can now apply until June 25.

If you wish to appear for this exam and missed the opportunity during the initial deadline, please take careful note of these important dates to ensure you do not miss out this time:

**New Application Date:** The online application window has been reopened for two days. Candidates can submit their forms from June 23, 2026 (11:00 PM) to June 25, 2026 (11:00 PM).

**New Eligibility Cut-off Date:** Due to the extension of the application deadline, the crucial date for determining eligibility under the exam rules will now be the new closing date—June 25, 2026.

**Last Date for Fee Payment:** The deadline for submitting the application fee online has been set for June 26, 2026 (up to 11:00 PM).

**Opportunity for Form Correction from July 1:** For candidates who made errors in their forms, the application correction window will remain open from July 1, 2026, to July 3, 2026 (up to 11:00 PM).

The notification for CGL 2026 was issued on May 21, 2026. Candidates were given the period from May 21, 2026, to June 22, 2026, to submit their applications.
