For what reasons was the SSC CGL 2025 Tier 1 exam canceled?

SSC has clarified in its official notification that there were mainly two reasons behind the cancellation of the exam in major cities like Delhi, Gurugram, Kolkata, Bokaro, and Jammu:

First Technical Issue - Being a computer-based examination (CBE), technical problems were faced at some centers. These included system crashes, connectivity issues, and software-related problems.

Second Administrative Reason: It was not possible to examine due to inadequate arrangements or other administrative reasons at some schools and examination centers. This also shows the negligence of the center management.

Affected exam centers and new exam dates

In such a situation, the candidates need to know at which centers the examination has been canceled and what their new dates are-

Bokaro: The first shift examination at Tissa Technology, Steel City, Jharkhand – 827013 has been canceled. The new date for this exam will be announced soon on the official website of SSC.

Gurugram: The examination has been canceled in MM Public School due to administrative reasons. The examination for this center will now be held on 24, 25, and 26 September 2025.

Delhi: The examination has also been canceled in Bharti Vidya Niketan Public School due to administrative reasons. The examinations here will also be held on 24, 25, and 26 September 2025.

Kolkata: All shifts of the examination to be held on September 12 near Mind Matrix, Kalaberia, Bishnupur Bazar Bus Stop have been canceled. The new date of this exam will be announced soon.

Jammu: The first shift at the Digital Computer Education Center has been canceled due to technical reasons. The examination of all the candidates scheduled at this center will now be held on 26 September 2025.
