Talking about the salary of NSG Commandos, the salary of Group Commander is Rs 1 lakh and the salary of Squadron Commander is Rs 90 thousand per month. There are two Special Action Groups in NSG - 51 Special Action Groups and 52 Special Action Groups. 51 Special Action Group was formed in 1986 for counter-terrorism and counter-insurgency. While 52 Special Operations Group was formed for anti-hijacking operations.
