SHRESHTA NETS 2026 Result: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared the results of the SHRESHTA NET 2026 residential education scheme for students from targeted areas in higher classes. Candidates who appeared for the exam can download their scorecards using their login credentials on the official website exams.nta.nic.in/shreshta.

The exam was held in 73 cities
The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted the SHRESHTA NETS 2026 examination in pen-and-paper mode at 106 examination centers across 73 cities in the country on December 21. According to the NTA, the verification of eligibility criteria, self-declaration, and other necessary documents submitted by the candidates called for counseling will be done in the subsequent stages of the admission process as per the rules laid down by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment.

The government has approved a new scheme called SHRESHTA (Residential Education for Students in High Schools in Targeted Areas) to provide meritorious Scheduled Caste (SC) boys and girls with the opportunity to study in the best private residential schools in the country. Under this scheme, approximately 3,000 students will be selected every year for admission to classes 9 and 11, enabling them to receive quality education.
How to check the result:
First, visit the official website exams.nta.nic.in/shreshta.
Now, click on the “SHRESHTA NET 2026 Result/Scorecard” link on the homepage.
Enter your Application Number and Date of Birth/Password.
Click on the Submit/Login button.
Your SHRESHTA NET 2026 scorecard will be displayed on the screen.
Now, download the scorecard and take a printout for future reference.
