What was said in the order?

The Gautam Buddha Nagar District Magistrate said that due to the ongoing deterioration in air quality in the district, online classes for all students from pre-nursery to class 12 have been extended till Tuesday, November 26, 2024. All government and private schools will have to follow this order. That is, all schools in the district will not run offline classes on November 26. All schools will provide the facility of online classes keeping in view the interests of their children.

Slight improvement in AQI

Even after many days today, the level of air pollution in the district continues to fluctuate. On Sunday, the AQI of Noida was recorded at 243 in the poor category and the level of Greater Noida was 250. Compared to Saturday, this is 69 and 12 points less respectively. According to the Central Pollution Control Board, the wind speed will remain high for the next several days, due to which some relief can be seen in pollution. According to AQICN, on Monday i.e. 25 November, the AQI of Noida Sector-116 was recorded at a very serious 961.
