It includes Delhi to Bihar, UP, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh etc. Meanwhile, given the scorching heat in Bihar, the Patna district administration has taken an important step. The District Magistrate here issued an order last night and fixed the period of operation of all government schools as well as Anganwadi centers in the state. According to the order issued by the District Magistrate's office, educational activities up to class 8 in all schools of the district have been banned after 11 am. This order will be in force with immediate effect till June 16, 2025.

It has also been clarified in the order that given the possibility of adverse effects on the health and life of children due to high temperature, especially the scorching heat during the afternoon, the Patna District Magistrate has banned educational activities in all private/government schools up to class 8th and all coaching institutes after 11 am and in pre-schools and Anganwadi centers after 10 am, while educational activities can be conducted in coaching institutes after 4:30 pm.

Anganwadi centers will open only till 10 am.

All Anganwadi centers under Patna district will be operated only till 10 am from June 13. Keeping in mind the health of children due to scorching heat and heat waves, in the light of the order given by the Patna District Officer, the District Program Officer (ICDS) has directed all Child Development Project Officers to ensure this.

Demand to extend holidays in UP schools
At present the entire state is in the grip of intense heat. Along with the Meteorological Department, the Disaster Management Department also gives instructions to people from time to time to avoid this scorching heat and also gives information about the prevention in case of heat stroke. At the same time, given the scorching heat, there is a demand to extend the holidays in the schools of Uttar Pradesh. Teachers' organizations have met the Basic Education Minister of UP and have demanded to extension the holidays. At present, all schools in UP are closed, but as per the pre-announced program, schools are opening on July 16.
