Activity Books: The MCD Education Department has received specially designed activity books for 8,000 students from the Akshaya Patra Foundation. The distribution of these books is currently underway in primary schools across three zones. Designed for children from nursery to fifth grade, these books will help enhance their creativity, learning abilities, and daily activities.

The books, estimated to cost Rs. 16 lakhs, are of the same quality as expensive activity books used in private schools, but will now be provided free of charge to children in MCD schools. This initiative will provide children studying in MCD schools with high-quality educational materials, which will contribute to their intellectual development and boost their confidence. The Akshaya Patra Foundation formally handed over the books to the Chairman of the Education Committee, Yogesh Verma (Advocate), on Tuesday.

The organization requested that the books be distributed to all the relevant schools as soon as possible so that the children can benefit from them from the beginning of the new academic year. On this occasion, Yogesh Verma said, "The children studying in MCD schools are the future of the country, and every support extended to them is extremely important. Such initiatives will continue to be encouraged in the future."
