Candidates who participated in the preliminary examination held on August 1 and 2, 2026, can now view their results. The results have been made available on the official SBI website. Candidates who have qualified in the preliminary exam will be eligible to appear for the next stage of the recruitment process. Through this recruitment drive, SBI aims to fill a total of 1,500 Probationary Officer positions. It is worth noting that the preliminary examination tested candidates on English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning Ability. Candidates who have qualified in the preliminary exam will proceed to the next stage of the recruitment process: the Mains examination. According to available information, the SBI PO Mains examination is scheduled for September 12, 2026; however, this date is currently tentative. • If your roll number appears in the list, you have been shortlisted for the Mains examination.

SBI will not send separate emails or SMS notifications regarding the Prelims result; therefore, candidates must check their status on the official portal. Candidates who qualify in the Prelims will be informed separately by SBI regarding the admit card for the Mains examination.
