SBI PO Exam Dates Out: There is a big update for all the candidates who had applied for the PO recruitment of the State Bank of India. You need to finalize your preparation. SBI has announced the dates of the PO preliminary examination. According to the latest notice, the Probationary Officer Preliminary Examination will be held on August 2, 4, and 5, 2025. Candidates can check the exam dates on the official website sbi.co.in.

The admit card for this is likely to be available soon. Candidates can download the hall ticket for the SBI PO preliminary examination from the official website of SBI. The results of the SBI PO preliminary examination will be declared in August/September.

SBI PO Vacancy 2025: Recruitment examination being conducted for 541 posts
Under this recruitment drive, 541 Probationary Officer (PO) posts will be recruited. Out of these, 500 are regular and 41 are backlog posts. The registration process was conducted from June 24 to July 14, 2025.

SBI PO Prelims Exam Pattern: Exam Pattern
The Preliminary Exam will consist of objective tests of 100 marks. The exam will have three sections (with separate timing for each section) – English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning Ability. The duration of the exam will be 1 hour. There will be no sectional cut-off in the Preliminary Exam.

There will be a penalty for wrong answers in the Objective Tests. For each question wrongly answered by the candidate, 1/4th of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as a penalty to arrive at the correct marks.

SBI PO Selection Process: Selection Process
The selection process will be conducted in three stages: Phase I, Phase II, and Phase III. Candidates selected after Phase I (i.e., Preliminary Exam) will have to appear in Phase II (i.e. Main Exam). Candidates selected after Phase-II will be called for Phase-III (i.e. Psychometric Test, Group Exercises and Interview).
