State Bank of India (SBI) has uploaded the Clerk Mains Exam Result 2025 on the official website today i.e. on June 2. SBI Clerk Mains Result 2025 PDF can also be downloaded from sbi.co.in.

The SBI Clerk Mains Exam was conducted on 10 April and 12 April 2025. A total of 190 questions were asked in General English, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability, Computer Aptitude, and General/Financial Awareness in the SBI Clerk Mains Exam 2025 (SBI Clerk Mains 2025 Exam Pattern). This exam was of 200 marks. Candidates were given 2 hours and 40 minutes to attempt the SBI Clerk Mains exam.

1. Local Language Test (LPT)
This is a qualifying test. In this, reading, writing, and speaking skills in your chosen local language (like Hindi, Tamil, Marathi, etc.) are tested. Candidates who have passed the Mains, and who did not study their chosen language in 10th/12th, can take this test. For this, practice basic reading, writing, and conversation. Passing LPT is mandatory for a job in SBI, but its marks are not added to the merit list.

2. Document Verification
Documents required in this process: Educational certificate (10th, 12th, graduation), identity card (Aadhaar, PAN card, etc.), caste/category certificate (for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/XS/DXS), NOC (if already doing the full-time job), photo, signature, and other necessary documents are checked. Keep ready the original and photocopies of all the documents required for the SBI Clerk job; make sure they are valid.

3. Final Merit List and Appointment

Merit List: A state/Category-wise merit list will be prepared based on the main marks.

Appointment: After LPT and document verification, candidates in the final merit list will receive an appointment letter as Junior Associate.

Joining: You will be allotted a branch in the chosen state.

4. Salary and Job Profile:

Salary: Starting salary ₹17,900/month (₹24,050-₹64,480 including allowances, depending on location).

Job Profile: Customer service, account management, cash transactions, and daily branch operations.

Career Growth: Promotion to PO or higher posts is possible based on time and performance.
