SATHEE App: For millions of students across the country, the dream is to become a doctor or an engineer. However, turning this dream into reality is a highly challenging endeavor. The exorbitant fees—often running into lakhs of rupees—charged by renowned coaching centers in major cities frequently stand as a formidable barrier in the path of children from economically disadvantaged families. To assist such students, India's Ministry of Education, in collaboration with IIT Kanpur, has launched a revolutionary initiative known as the SATHEE App.

SATHEE is not merely an app; it serves as a beacon of hope for thousands of students who cannot afford to study at expensive coaching centers. The platform recently garnered significant recognition at the India AI Impact Summit 2026. Its new avatar has successfully captured the attention of the entire nation.

The SATHEE App Gets Smarter with AI

The AI-enabled version of the SATHEE App was unveiled at the AI Summit. This iteration of the app utilizes artificial intelligence to identify a student's specific strengths and weaknesses. If you are struggling with a particular chapter in Mathematics, the app's intelligent system will suggest relevant practice questions and video lectures tailored to that topic. It is akin to having a personal tutor guide you right from the comfort of your own home.

What is the SATHEE App, and How Does It Work?

The full name of the SATHEE App is "Self-Assessment, Test, and Help for Entrance Exams." The study materials and video lectures available on this platform have been curated by experts from IITs and professors from other prestigious institutions. The most distinctive feature of this app is its multilingual capability; study materials are available in several Indian languages.

One App, Solutions for Every Major Exam

Initially, the SATHEE App was launched to assist students preparing for examinations such as the JEE and NEET. However, in light of its resounding success, its scope has been significantly expanded. Now, in addition to NEET and JEE, you can also use this app to prepare for the following examinations:

CUET: Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) admissions to Central Universities.

CLAT: Law entrance examinations.

SSC and RRB: Recruitment examinations for various departments of the Central Government and the Railways.

IBPS: Recruitment examinations for the banking sector.

ICAR: Entrance examinations for the agricultural sector.
