There's good news for young people preparing for jobs in Rajasthan's power corporations. The results of the online preliminary examination for Technician Grade III (ITI) recruitment have been released on Friday. This result is for Group-I posts, which include positions such as Electrician, Power Electrician, Wireman, Lineman, and SBA. Candidates who appeared for the exam can now check their results on the official website of the Energy Department, energy.rajasthan.gov.in.

This recruitment drive is for a total of 2163 posts. These include Technician-III, Operator-III, and Plant Attendant-III (ITI) positions. The online examination was conducted between November 24th and November 27th in various districts of Rajasthan. The exam was held in two shifts, and a large number of candidates participated.

Group-I Results Released
The power corporations had already released the results of the preliminary examinations for Group II, Group III, and Group IV in January. Now, with the declaration of the Group-I results, the recruitment process has moved forward. The corporations have stated that approximately ten times the number of candidates compared to the number of vacancies in each group have been selected for the main examination.

According to the data, 22,893 candidates from Group I have been deemed eligible for the main examination. Similarly, 360 candidates from Group-II, 175 from Group-III, and 361 from Group-IV have passed. Thus, a total of 23,789 candidates will now be able to appear for the main examination. All successful candidates have also been informed via SMS at their registered mobile numbers.

Applications Started in September
Of these 2163 posts, 150 are with the Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam (Rajasthan State Power Generation Corporation). Jaipur Vidyut Vitran Nigam has 603 posts, Ajmer Vidyut Vitran Nigam has 498 posts, and Jodhpur Vidyut Vitran Nigam has 912 posts. Online applications for these positions were accepted in September 2025.

Candidates should now focus on preparing for the main examination. The power corporations have advised candidates to keep an eye only on the official website for further exam dates and other information, and not to trust any rumors. This recruitment is a good opportunity for the youth of the state to get a government job.
