RSSB VDO Exam 2025 New Date: The date of the Gram Vikas Adhikari (VDO) recruitment exam in Rajasthan has been postponed. The board issued a notice informing that the date of the recruitment exam has been changed due to necessary reasons. However, the board has not given the reason behind postponing the exam. Rajasthan VDO New Exam Date: November 2, 2025. The board has postponed the VDO recruitment exam as well as announced the new date. This recruitment exam for government jobs on a total of 850 posts will now be conducted on 2 November 2025. The exam will be an OMR sheet-based exam in offline mode. The duration of the exam will be three hours in a single shift.
RSSB VDO Exam Pattern: How will the exam be conducted
There will be a total of 160 multiple-choice questions in the 3-hour exam. The paper will be of 200 marks. In which questions will be asked from Language (Hindi-English) (30 marks), Maths (30 marks), General Knowledge (20 marks), Geography and Natural Resources (30 marks), Agriculture and Economic Development in the context of Rajasthan (30 marks), Rajasthan Culture and History (30 marks), and Basic Computer (10 marks). One-third (1/3) marks will be deducted as negative marking in the exam.

A total of 5 options, A, B, C, D, E, will be given in the exam. Candidates will have to choose one option out of the five. The option has to be circled deeply with a ball pen below. If you do not fill in even a single option, it will be considered as unattempted. As per the Rajasthan Government Recruitment Rules, leaving 10% more blank paper will be considered ineligible, and candidature may be cancelled.
All the appearing candidates should keep a carbon copy of the OMR sheet with them till the completion of the process of releasing the final result and present it before the board when demanded.
