RSMSSB REET Mains Exam: The Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSMSSB) has released a short notification for Class III Teacher Recruitment 2025. This recruitment will be done through the REET Mains exam, in which teachers will be appointed to a total of 7759 posts. In these vacancies, 5636 posts have been fixed for Level-1 (Class 1 to 5) and 2123 posts for Level-2 (Class 6 to 8). This recruitment will be done under the Primary and Secondary Education Department, Government of Rajasthan.

The board has clarified that detailed information related to the online application form and registration fee for Class III teacher recruitment will be released soon through a detailed advertisement.

Vacancy for primary teacher recruitment for a total of 5636 posts in Level-1

Under the Rajasthan Class III Teacher Recruitment 2025, a total of 5000 posts have been fixed at Level-1 for the Elementary Education Department. Apart from this, appointments will also be made in the Sanskrit Education Department, in which 187 posts are reserved for the Sanskrit subject and 449 posts for general education. All these posts come under direct recruitment of teachers at the primary level (classes 1 to 5).

Details of subject-wise posts in Level-2
The details of subject-wise posts for Level-2 (classes 6 to 8) under the Sanskrit Education Department are as follows: Sanskrit - 389 posts, Hindi - 174 posts, English - 221 posts, Social Science - 296 posts, and Mathematics and Science - 1043 posts. These vacancies have been released keeping in mind the need for subject-wise teachers at the secondary level. Interested candidates will be able to apply by fulfilling the eligibility criteria in the respective subjects.

Know the educational qualification and age limit.
The educational qualification for the Rajasthan Third Grade Teacher Recruitment 2025 has been fixed as per the post. For the post of Level-1 (Primary Teacher), it is mandatory for the candidate to have passed 12th, done a two-year D.El.Ed., and passed the REET Level-1 exam. At the same time, for the post of Level-2 (Upper Primary Teacher), the candidate must have a graduation degree, B.Ed., and the REET Level-2 exam.

The minimum age limit for the posts of both these levels is 21 years, and the maximum age limit is 40 years. Age relaxation will be provided to the reserved categories as per the rules. The selected candidates will get a pay scale as per Pay Matrix Level-10, which will be decided as per the rules of the state government and other allowances will also be applicable.

Exam Date and Result

Rajasthan Third Class Teacher Recruitment will be selected through REET Mains exam, which will be conducted from 17 January 2026 to 21 January 2026 as per the exam calendar released by Rajasthan Staff Selection Board. The result of this examination will be declared on 10 July 2026.
