RRB NTPC UG Cut-Off 2026: There is big news for candidates preparing for railway jobs. The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released the results for the NTPC Undergraduate CBT 1. Along with the results, the cut-off marks for various railway regions have also been announced. Candidates who succeeded in CBT 1 will now appear for the next stage, the CBT 2 exam. CBT 2 is scheduled to be held starting September 17, 2026.

CBT 2 exam to begin on September 17
The CBT 2 exam will now be conducted for candidates who qualified in CBT 1. According to the Railway Recruitment Board, the CBT 2 exam will commence on September 17, 2026. A city intimation slip for candidates appearing in the exam will be released approximately 10 days before the exam date. This will allow candidates to know their exam city in advance and make travel arrangements.

Cut-off marks in these zones
The cut-off marks for CBT 2 vary across different RRB zones. According to available data, the cut-off for the UR category in RRB Ahmedabad was 75.75113 for Category 1 and 75.27870 for Category 3. Meanwhile, at RRB Bilaspur, the UR (Unreserved) cut-off stood at 78.72228 for Category 1, 75.89560 for Category 2, and 77.38513 for Category 3.
At RRB Chandigarh, the UR cut-off was 84.94557 for Category 2, 84.08904 for Category 3, and 85.80144 for Category 4. At RRB Gorakhpur, the UR cut-off was 82.61633 for Category 1, 85.55678 for Category 2, and 83.40928 for Category 3.

CBT 2: 120 Questions, 90 Minutes Duration
A total of 120 multiple-choice questions will be asked in the RRB NTPC UG CBT 2 examination. These will comprise 50 questions on General Awareness, 35 on Mathematics, and 35 on General Intelligence and Reasoning. Candidates will have 90 minutes to complete the entire paper. One mark will be awarded for each correct answer, while one-third of a mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer (negative marking). Therefore, candidates must exercise great care while answering questions.
