RRB NTPC UG CBT-2 exam date announced; find out when the city slip will be released?

According to the Railway Board, the NTPC Undergraduate CBT-2 exam will be held on December 20, 2025, at designated exam centres across the country. A total of 3,058 positions will be filled under the NTPC UG recruitment.

The Railway Recruitment Board has announced the date for the NTPC Undergraduate CBT-2 exam. A notification has also been uploaded on the board's official website. Based on the notification issued by the board, only candidates who have qualified the CBT-1 exam will be eligible to appear for this second stage of the exam. According to the Railway Board, the NTPC Undergraduate CBT-2 exam will be held on December 20, 2025, at designated exam centers across the country. This exam is considered a crucial stage for all selected candidates. A total of 3,058 positions will be filled under the NTPC UG recruitment. These include the positions of Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Accounts Clerk cum Typist, Junior Clerk cum Typist, and Railway Clerk.

When will the City Intimation Slip be issued?

According to the Railway Recruitment Board, the City Intimation Slip will be issued approximately 10 days before the exam date. Candidates will be able to download this slip by December 9th or 10th, 2025. This slip will inform candidates of the city in which their exam will be held. Following the City Slip, admit cards will be issued four days before the exam. It is reported that all candidates will be able to download their admit cards by December 16th, 2025. Admit cards will be available online only and will not be sent by post.

Aadhaar Card Required for the Exam

This time, RRB has clarified that bringing an Aadhaar card will be mandatory for entry into the examination center. Biometric verification will be done based on the Aadhaar card only. Candidates whose Aadhaar is not linked or authenticated on the RRB portal can complete this process as soon as possible at rrbapply.gov.in. This time, a total of 120 multiple-choice questions will be asked in CBT-2. These questions will include 50 from General Awareness, 35 from Mathematics, and 35 from General Intelligence and Reasoning. The exam duration is 90 minutes. One mark will be awarded for each correct answer, while 1/3 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
