RRB NTPC UG Final Result 2026: Big news has arrived for the lakhs of young aspirants awaiting a job in the Railways. The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released the final results for the NTPC Undergraduate recruitment drive of 2026. This result has been declared under CEN 06/2024. Candidates who participated in this recruitment process can now visit their respective regional RRB websites to check the merit list and the list for Document Verification (DV).
RRB Releases Final Result
The Railway Recruitment Board has published the RRB NTPC Undergraduate Final Result 2026 on its official website. Candidates can visit the websites of their respective railway zones to download the result PDF. This PDF contains the roll numbers of those candidates who have been shortlisted for the next stage of the recruitment process: Document Verification.
Which Posts Were Covered in the Recruitment?
This recruitment drive was conducted for various posts falling under the NTPC Undergraduate category. These include positions such as Commercial-cum-Ticket Clerk, Accounts Clerk-cum-Typist, Junior Clerk-cum-Typist, Trains Clerk, and others. Through this recruitment campaign, a total of 3,445 vacancies across different railway zones will be filled.
When Were the Exams Held?
The RRB NTPC recruitment process was conducted in multiple stages. The CBT-1 examination was held from August 7 to September 9. Subsequently, the CBT-2 examination was conducted on December 20, while the Undergraduate Computer-Based Typing Skill Test was held on February 13. Following the completion of all these stages, the final result has now been released on May 26.
2.1 Million Candidates Appeared for the Exam
According to the Railway Recruitment Board, a massive number of candidates participated in this recruitment examination. Approximately 2.1 million candidates appeared for the CBT-1 exam. Out of these, 52,008 candidates qualified to proceed to the CBT-2 stage. Subsequently, a total of 14,947 candidates qualified for the second stage of the examination and were selected to proceed to the next phase of the recruitment process. Now, from among these candidates, individuals will be called for document verification based on the final merit list.
**Document Verification to Follow**
Following the release of the final results, the next stage will be document verification. Shortlisted candidates will be required to appear for the verification process, bringing along their educational certificates, identity proofs, and other necessary documents. The Railway Recruitment Board will soon release a detailed schedule for the Document Verification (DV) process.
**Zone-wise Merit Lists Released**
The RRB has released merit lists categorized by the various railway zones. Each Regional Railway Recruitment Board has issued a separate PDF document based on the vacancies and the level of competition within its respective jurisdiction. These documents list the roll numbers of the selected candidates. Candidates are advised to retain copies of the result PDF and their scorecards for future reference.
**Scorecards to be Released Soon**
The Railway Recruitment Board has announced that the RRB NTPC Scorecard 2026 will be released separately. Candidates will be able to download their scorecards by accessing the login portal using their registration numbers and passwords.
**Medical Examination Still Pending**
The railway recruitment process has not yet reached its conclusion. Prior to the final appointment, candidates must also undergo a medical examination. Final joining letters will be issued only after this stage is completed. The entire recruitment process comprises several stages, including CBT-1, CBT-2, Skill Tests, Document Verification, and Medical Examinations.
