RRB NTPC Graduate 2026: Application deadline extended; submit your form by this date..
There is good news for graduates preparing for government jobs in the Railways. The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has extended the deadline for online applications for the NTPC Graduate-Level recruitment 2026. Candidates who have not yet applied can now submit their forms until 11:59 PM on November 8, 2026. The original deadline was November 6; it has now been extended by two days. The deadline for the payment of the application fee has also been set for November 8, 2026.
Why has the application deadline been extended?
The RRB has extended the deadline to provide additional time to candidates who, for various reasons, were unable to submit their forms within the original timeframe. Such candidates can now apply until 11:59 PM on November 8. Candidates are advised not to wait until the last minute; they should complete the application process well in advance to avoid any issues—such as website congestion or technical glitches—that might hinder the submission of their forms. Ensure that all necessary information and documents are ready before you begin the application process.
How many vacancies are being filled?
The RRB NTPC Graduate-Level recruitment is being conducted under Centralized Employment Notification (CEN) 06/2026. A total of 3,548 positions will be filled through this recruitment drive. These include roles such as Goods Train Manager, Chief Commercial-cum-Ticket Supervisor, Junior Accounts Assistant-cum-Typist, and Senior Clerk-cum-Typist. Applicants for these positions must hold a graduate degree from a recognized university; in other words, individuals who have completed their graduation are eligible to apply.
Will there be an opportunity to correct the application form?
Once the application process is complete, candidates will be given an opportunity to correct any errors in their forms. According to the revised schedule from the RRB, the correction window will remain open from November 9 to November 18, 2026. During this period, candidates will be able to make changes to their applications in accordance with the prescribed rules. However, certain information provided during the initial account creation—as well as the selected RRB—cannot be altered. Therefore, it is essential to enter all information carefully when filling out the form.
What points should be kept in mind?
Candidates should exercise care when entering their personal and educational details during the application process. Photographs, signatures, and other required documents must be uploaded in the format specified by the Board. Before submitting the form, thoroughly verify your name, date of birth, educational qualifications, and all other details. Should any errors occur, you may have to wait for the correction window to rectify them; however, please note that changes to certain information will not be permitted. It is, therefore, best to ensure the application is filled out correctly the first time.
