RRB NTPC CBT 1 Exam 2026: The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) NTPC 2025 Graduate Level (CEN 06/2025) CBT-1 examination is set to begin on March 16, 2026. This examination will be conducted from March 16 to March 27, 2026, across various examination centers nationwide. This presents a crucial opportunity for the lakhs of candidates appearing for the exam. In light of this, candidates should review the examination pattern and marking scheme. Examination Pattern

The RRB NTPC CBT-1 examination will consist of a total of 100 multiple-choice questions. Candidates will be allotted 90 minutes to complete the exam, while candidates with disabilities will be given 120 minutes. The examination will cover three major subjects, with specific marks allocated to each subject.

Subjects and Marking Scheme

  • General Awareness: 40 Marks
  • Mathematics: 30 Marks
  • General Intelligence and Reasoning: 30 Marks

Negative Marking Rule

Negative marking will also be applicable in this examination. If a candidate provides an incorrect answer, 1/3 of a mark will be deducted for every wrong response. Therefore, candidates should attempt only those questions of which they are completely confident.
