RRB NTPC 2025: When was the exam held, and how many candidates appeared?
The CBT 1 exam for recruitment to a total of 3445 posts of RRB NTPC undergraduate level was conducted on 7, 8, 11, 12, 13, 14, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 28, 29 August 2025, and 1, 2, 3, 4, 8, and 9 September. The exam was held at centers set up in various states across the country. A total of about 63,26,818 candidates had applied to appear in the exam.

The total posts include 2022 posts of Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, 361 posts of Accounts Clerk cum Typist, 990 posts of Junior Clerk cum Typist, and 72 posts of Train Clerk. Candidates successful in CBT 1 will appear in the CBT 2 exam. Candidates selected for these posts will get an initial salary between Rs 25,500 and Rs 35,400.
