**When will the exam be held?**
According to the notification issued by the RRB, the Junior Engineer examination will be conducted on October 27 and 28 at designated exam centers across the country. A total of 4,029 candidates will be selected through this examination. Vacancies have been reserved as follows: 1,714 posts for the General category, 398 for EWS, 919 for OBC, 632 for SC, and 366 for ST.

**CBT-1 Exam Pattern**
In the CBT-1 exam, candidates will face 100 questions worth 100 marks covering Mathematics, General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness, and General Science. There will be negative marking, with one-third of a mark deducted for every incorrect answer. To qualify for the next stage, candidates from the General and EWS categories must secure 40% marks, while OBC and SC candidates need 30%, and ST candidates require 25%. Candidates who qualify in this exam will be called for the CBT-2 examination.

**When will the Exam City Slip be released?**
According to the RRB notification, the exam city slip for the Junior Engineer examination may be released 10 days prior to the exam—that is, by October 17. Additionally, admit cards will be issued four days before the examination.
