The RRB has released a notice regarding the exam schedule on its official website. According to the notification, the examination will be conducted over three days in October.

**Exam Dates**
As per the notice, the examination for the posts of Junior Engineer, Depot Material Superintendent, and Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant will be held on October 27, 28, and 30, 2026, at designated centers across the country.

**When will the City Intimation Slip and Admit Card be released? ****
According to the notification, the exam city intimation slip will be released 10 days before the exam date. This will allow applicants to know their exam city and plan their travel. Admit cards for the exam will be made available for download four days before the scheduled exam date.

**Start preparing with the exam pattern in mind**
With little time remaining before the exam, candidates should intensify their preparations while keeping the exam pattern in mind. In the CBT-1 exam, candidates will face 100 multiple-choice questions. Candidates will have 90 minutes to complete the paper. One mark will be awarded for each correct answer, while one-third of a mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer (negative marking).

The paper will consist of 30 questions on Mathematics, 25 questions on General Intelligence and Reasoning, 15 questions on General Awareness, and 30 questions on General Science.
