A major update has been released for the lakhs of candidates who appeared for the RRB JE CBT-2 examination. The Railway Recruitment Board has issued the provisional answer key for the exam. Along with this, candidates' response sheets and question papers have also been made available. Candidates can now estimate their probable scores and, if they have objections to any answer, submit them online within the stipulated timeframe.
RRB JE CBT-2 Answer Key Released
The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released the provisional answer key for the Junior Engineer (JE) CBT-2 examination. Candidates can now view the answer key, response sheet, and question paper by visiting the official website using their login credentials. This allows candidates to compare their answers and estimate their probable scores.
Recruitment for 2,585 Posts
A total of 2,585 vacant posts in Indian Railways will be filled through this recruitment drive. These include positions such as Junior Engineer (JE), Depot Material Superintendent, Chemical Supervisor, and Metallurgical Assistant. The subsequent stages of the recruitment process will be conducted following the CBT-2 examination.
Objections Can Be Raised Until July 17
If a candidate has an objection regarding any answer provided in the answer key, they can challenge it online. The process for raising objections has commenced, and the deadline is set for July 17, 2026, at 11:50 PM. The RRB JE CBT-2 exam carries a total of 150 marks. One mark is awarded for each correct answer, while one-third (1/3) of a mark is deducted for each incorrect answer. There is no negative marking for unanswered questions. Candidates can estimate their probable scores based on this criteria.
