RRB JE CBT 2025 Exam Date: The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has officially released the schedule for the first stage Computer-Based Test (CBT-I) to be conducted under CEN 05/2025. This examination will be held for recruitment to the posts of Junior Engineer (JE), Depot Material Superintendent (DMS), and Chemical and Metallurgical Assistant (CMA). This recruitment is being conducted through various Railway Recruitment Boards across the country.
RRB JE CBT-I Exam Dates
According to the notification issued by the Ministry of Railways, Government of India, the CBT-I examination will be conducted over several days and in multiple shifts during February and March 2026. A total of 2,570 vacancies are to be filled under this recruitment process.
According to the official notice, the CBT-I examination for candidates registered under CEN 05/2025 will be held on February 19, 2026, February 20, 2026, and March 3, 2026. The examination for Junior Engineer, Depot Material Superintendent, and Chemical and Metallurgical Assistant posts will be held on these dates.
Exam City Information and Admit Card
The Railway Recruitment Board has stated that the link to download the exam city information, exam date, and travel authority for SC/ST candidates will be activated on the official website of the respective RRB 10 days before the examination.
The e-call letter (admit card) will be available for download 4 days before the date mentioned in the exam city information link.
Important Information Regarding Aadhaar Verification
Before entering the examination center, candidates will undergo Aadhaar-linked biometric verification. For this, candidates must bring their original Aadhaar card or a printout of their e-verified Aadhaar.
The Railway Recruitment Board advises candidates to ensure that their Aadhaar is unlocked in the UIDAI system before the examination to avoid any problems during identity verification and registration at the examination center.
Application Process and Salary
The CEN JE Recruitment CEN 05/2025 notification was released on September 29, 2025. The online application process ran from October 31, 2025, to December 10, 2025. A total of 2,570 vacancies will be filled under this recruitment. Selected candidates will receive a basic salary of ₹35,400 per month as per the Level-6 pay scale.
