RRB Group D Result 2026: The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released the results for the Group D recruitment 2026 Computer-Based Test (CBT). Along with the results, the cut-off marks for all zones and the candidates' scorecards have also been published. Candidates who appeared for the exam can now view their results and scorecards by visiting the official websites of their respective RRBs. The cut-off marks this time have been higher than expected. Based on the marks obtained in the Computer-Based Test (CBT), the Railway Recruitment Board has shortlisted candidates for the next stage—the Physical Efficiency Test (PET). Candidates numbering approximately three times the available vacancies in each category have been called for the physical test. A PDF containing the roll numbers of the shortlisted candidates has been released on the websites of all regional RRBs. Railway Group D recruitment is considered one of the largest government recruitment drives in the country. This time, over 1.08 crore candidates applied for approximately 32,000 posts. The CBT was conducted at various exam centers across the country between November 27, 2025, and February 10, 2026.
**Why is the Cut-off a Topic of Discussion?**
Following the declaration of results, the cut-off marks have become a major talking point. In most zones, the cut-off for the General category ranged between 70 and 80 marks. In several places, the OBC category cut-off was either equal to or only marginally lower than that of the General category. Physical Efficiency Test (PET) to Follow
Candidates who qualified in the CBT (Computer Based Test) must now undergo a physical test. Passing this stage is mandatory for final selection. Male candidates are required to carry a weight of 35 kg and cover a distance of 100 meters within 2 minutes; additionally, they must complete a 1000-meter run in 4 minutes and 15 seconds.
Female candidates must carry a weight of 20 kg and cover a distance of 100 meters within 2 minutes, as well as complete a 1000-meter run in 5 minutes and 40 seconds. The Railway Recruitment Board has also clarified that, in accordance with the rules, candidates belonging to certain categories will be granted exemptions under prescribed provisions during the final selection process.
How to Check Results and Scorecards
Candidates can view their results by visiting the official website of their respective RRB. They can search for their roll number in the result PDF available on the website. To view the scorecard, however, candidates must log in. The facility to download the scorecard will remain available until July 16, 2026.
