RRB Section Controller Result 2026: The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released the list of candidates shortlisted for the next stage of the Section Controller recruitment under CEN 04/2025. This list has been prepared based on the candidates' performance in the CBT and CBAT exams. Candidates whose roll numbers appear on this list have been provisionally selected for Document Verification (DV) and the medical examination.

Candidates can view their CBAT scores by visiting the official RRB website and entering their registration number and date of birth. The scorecard will be available for download for a period of 15 days.

What marks are required to pass?
According to the RRB, candidates must secure a minimum of 42 marks to pass the CBAT (Computer-Based Aptitude Test). This is a uniform minimum passing mark applicable to all categories (General, OBC, SC, ST, etc.); no relaxations or reservation benefits apply to this criterion.

Candidates securing 42 marks or more will be considered eligible for the subsequent stages of the selection process. However, those scoring less than 42 marks will not proceed to the next stages.

Final Merit and Document Verification
A weightage of 70% for the CBT exam and 30% for the CBAT has been assigned for the preparation of the final merit list. This means the CBT holds greater significance in the final selection, while the CBAT contributes 30% to the overall score.

Document Verification (DV) for the shortlisted candidates will be conducted on July 11 and 12, 2026. During this process, all candidate documents will be verified. Detailed information regarding the DV—such as the venue, reporting time, and essential instructions—will be communicated to candidates via SMS, email, and the official RRB website.

Keep these documents ready.
Candidates must bring all original documents at the time of Document Verification (DV):

Self-attested photocopies of all documents are also required
Two recent color passport-sized photographs must be brought along
If any document is found to be incorrect, incomplete, or false, the candidate's candidature may be cancelled
After successful completion of DV, candidates will be called for a medical examination
Final appointment will be granted only if the candidate successfully clears the DV and passes the medical fitness test
The RRB advises candidates to regularly check the official RRB website to stay updated with the latest information
