RPSC Cancels RO, EO New Exam Date: Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has canceled the 2022 recruitment exam of Revenue Officer (RO) Grade 1 and Executive Officer (EO) Grade 4 due to allegations of paper leak and large-scale cheating. The exam, initially scheduled to be held on May 14, 2023, in multiple shifts, has now been rescheduled for March 2025.

According to the official notice, the exam scheduled to be held on May 14, 2023, has been canceled and it is now proposed to be held on March 23, 2025.

The exam was canceled after the commission received confirmed information that the integrity and confidentiality of the examination were breached during the examination. A total of 1,96,483 candidates had appeared for the Revenue Officer Grade 2 exam.

After various FIRs were registered, investigations revealed that cheating was done through electronic devices at the examination centers. In this regard, the commission also examined the documents of some candidates and after reviewing all the aspects, has now canceled the exam.

Further scrutiny of the documents of the candidates was done from August 2 to August 8, after which the investigation note was prepared. By August 14, ATS and SOG were formally asked to investigate and by August 28, the additional director of ATS provided the findings to RPSC, which led to several arrests by SOG Jaipur on October 19
