REET Mains Level 1 Result 2026: The Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB) has declared the final result and cut-off marks for the Level-1 (Classes 1 to 5) examination of the Grade III teacher recruitment drive—known as 'REET Mains 2026'—on its official website, rssb.rajasthan.gov.in. The fate of the approximately 9 lakh candidates who appeared for this exam has now been revealed through a PDF list. Candidates who took the REET Mains exam can check their results on the official website, rssb.rajasthan.gov.in.

Along with the REET Mains 2026 results, the Board has also released category-wise cut-off marks for both Non-TSP and TSP areas. Candidates selected in this list must now proceed to the next stage: document verification (Pre-DV); a roll-number-wise list for this phase is already live on the website. If you have not yet checked your result due to heavy traffic on the site, keep your roll number handy without wasting any time.

REET Mains Result Released
More than 9.22 lakh candidates registered for a total of 7,759 posts (5,636 for Level-1 and 2,123 for Level-2) in the race to become government teachers in Rajasthan. Of these, approximately 8.9 lakh candidates actually appeared for the exam. Candidates had been eagerly awaiting the results since the written examination was conducted amidst the biting cold of January. By releasing the subject-wise results for Level-1, the Board has paved the way for recruiting new teachers for the state's government schools.

Close Contest Between General and OBC Categories
As soon as the result PDF was released, all eyes turned to the cut-off marks. For the Non-TSP area, a fierce contest—decided by mere fractions of a mark—was witnessed between the General and OBC categories, as is often the case. While the cut-off for General and female candidates remained quite high, as anticipated, candidates from the EWS, SC, and ST categories also faced stiff competition for the available seats. The cut-off for the Tribal Sub-Plan (TSP) area has been recorded as significantly lower than that of the non-TSP area.

How to check the REET Mains result?

It is common for the official website to slow down once the REET Mains 2026 result is released. If the main portal is not working, follow these simple steps instead of panicking:
Visit the official website of the Rajasthan Staff Selection Board: rssb.rajasthan.gov.in.
On the homepage, look for the ‘Candidate Corner’ section and select the ‘Results’ option.
You will see a direct link for the REET Mains Level-1 Result 2026; click on it.
A PDF will open; press Ctrl + F to search for your roll number. If your roll number gets highlighted, it means you have qualified.

Keep these documents ready for Pre-DV.
The release of the list of selected candidates does not mean that joining will happen immediately. Candidates whose roll numbers appear on this merit list will be called for the Pre-Document Verification (Pre-DV) process. For this, candidates must keep the original copies and two sets of self-attested photocopies of the following documents ready: Class 10 and 12 marksheets, REET eligibility certificate, domicile certificate, caste certificate, and all necessary documents related to reservation. If there are any errors in names or spellings in any document, get an affidavit prepared in advance.
