Rajasthan REET 2025: Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education has made full preparations for the Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Test (REET) to be held on 27 and 28 February 2025. Board Administrator Mahesh Chandra Sharma said that this time the instructions of Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma will be followed to prevent cheating and ensure transparency in the examination. The special thing is that for the first time face recognition technology will be used in the REET exam. Under this, the photo on the admit card will be matched with the candidate present at the examination center through the bar code and their fingerprints will also be taken.

CCTV cameras will be monitored

The examination centers will be monitored with CCTV cameras and live videography of the center will be done during the examination. The entrance gates of the examination centers will be closed one hour before the start of the examination. Apart from this, candidates will be allowed to come to the examination center only wearing plain clothes, slippers, or sandals. Entry will be prohibited by wearing any type of chain or metal jewelry at the examination center.

The exam will be held on the 27th and 28th of February

Mahesh Sharma said that REET Exam 2024 will be conducted in all the districts of the state on 27th and 28th February. On 27th February, the Level-1 exam will be held in the first shift and the Level-2 exam in the second shift, while on 28th February only the Level-2 exam will be held.

A total of 14 lakh 29 thousand 822 candidates have registered for the REET exam. Out of these, 3 lakh 46 thousand 625 are registered for Level-1, 9 lakh 68 thousand 501 for Level-2, and 1 lakh 14 thousand 696 candidates are registered for both levels. On February 27, 4 lakh 61 thousand 321 candidates will appear in the first shift and 5 lakh 41 thousand 599 in the second shift, while on February 28, 5 lakh 41 thousand 598 candidates will appear in the exam. 1731 examination centers have been set up across the state for the examination.

Exam Pattern

Each question for the Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Test will have five options instead of four. 0.33 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. The exam will be conducted offline, in which candidates will get 150 minutes to complete both Level 1 and Level 2 papers. Each paper will have 150 questions, which will be of a total of 150 marks.

Dress Code for the REET Exam

Male candidates will come wearing half or full-sleeve shirts or T-shirts and pants. Also, they can go to the examination center wearing slippers or slippers.

Female candidates can come to the examination center wearing a salwar suit or saree, half or full-sleeve kurta/blouse, and slippers or slippers.

Candidates cannot come to the examination center wearing any type of jewelry, bangles, earrings, rings, bracelets, etc.

Entry into the examination center wearing watches, shoes/sandals, socks, sunglasses, belts, handbags, hair pins, Ganda/Amulet, cap/hat, scarf, stole, shawl, muffler, coat, tie, jacket, blazer, etc. will be prohibited.

Candidates are requested to follow the dress code and other instructions and reach the examination centre on time.
