RBSE: Rajasthan Board's new academic calendar, classes will run from April 1 to May 15; holidays will be available for this many days..
RBSE: A new academic schedule has been released for all schools run under the Rajasthan Board. According to the information released, regular classes will begin on April 1st and continue until May 15th. This will be followed by a summer vacation from May 16th to June 20th.
Students will get some respite from the heat during the summer vacation. All schools will resume operations from June 21st, and regular classes for the new semester will proceed. The Education Department has directed all schools to conduct academic activities according to the prescribed calendar.
Automatic Promotion Ended, Evaluation Will Be Mandatory
Recently, the Rajasthan Board made a major change to the education system, abolishing the automatic promotion system in classes 5 and 8. According to the new rules, students will now be required to obtain a minimum number of marks to advance to the next class. If a student fails to achieve the required passing marks, they will not be promoted to the next class.
The Board states that this decision was taken to improve students' academic levels and increase their seriousness towards studies in schools. The official statement said that promotion without passing the examination was affecting the studies of the students, which was increasing the difficulties in the higher classes.
