RBSE 5th & 8th Result 2026: There is big news for students in the 5th and 8th grades in Rajasthan. The Rajasthan School Education Department will release its results tomorrow, March 24, 2026. In this regard, the Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan, has posted an update on its 'X' (formerly Twitter) handle. The Board also informed that the website is currently down; it is being fixed and is therefore inaccessible at the moment. Students will be able to check their results by visiting the School Education Department's website: rajshaladarpan.nic.in. More than 2.6 million students across the 5th and 8th grades appeared for these examinations.

This time, the most significant update for 5th and 8th-grade students is that they will not be automatically promoted to the next grade. To pass, they must secure a minimum of 33 percent marks—both in the aggregate and in each subject. Those who fail to secure the minimum required marks will have the opportunity to pass by appearing for a compartment examination, which will be conducted within 45 days.

Rajasthan School Result: How to Check Online?
First, visit the website of the Rajasthan School Education Department.
On the website's homepage, click on the specific link corresponding to the grade for which you wish to check the result.
Next, you will need to enter your Roll Number along with your District, or your Roll Number along with your Date of Birth.
The result will then appear on the screen, allowing you to check your scores and download a copy of your marksheet.

When were the examinations held?
The Rajasthan Board's Class 5 and Class 8 examinations for the year 2026 were conducted between February and March. The Class 8 examinations commenced on February 19, 2026, and concluded on March 4, 2026; meanwhile, the Class 5 examinations began on February 20, 2026, and concluded on March 6, 2026. Both sets of examinations were conducted across the state as per the scheduled timetable. These examinations are organized by the Rajasthan School Education Council.

Schools to Reopen on April 1st
