Board Examinations to Be Held Twice a Year Starting Next Year
Students who do not perform well in the board examinations, or who fail in two or three subjects, will now have a second opportunity to pass. Starting next year—specifically from the year 2027—the Rajasthan Board will conduct board examinations twice a year, modeled after the CBSE pattern. The second round of examinations will be held in May or June. This will allow students to improve their results by appearing for examinations in a maximum of three subjects.

Failed Students Can Also Pass Through This Method
To pass the Rajasthan Board Class 10 examination, students are required to secure a minimum of 33% marks. Students who fail in one or two subjects will still have an opportunity to pass within the current academic year. To avail of this opportunity, students must appear for the compartment examination. Applications for the compartment examination will commence a few days after the results are declared.

Requesting Re-evaluation of Answer Sheets After Results

Students who are dissatisfied with the marks obtained in any specific subject may apply for scrutiny within the stipulated dates to have their answer sheets re-checked or re-evaluated. Scrutiny forms will be released a few days after the declaration of the results.

Minimum Passing Marks Required to Pass

To pass the Rajasthan Board Class 10 examination, students are required to secure a minimum of 33 percent marks. It is mandatory to secure this minimum passing percentage separately in both the practical and theory components; only then will a student be considered to have passed the examination.

Steps for Failed Students to Pass
