RBI Assistant 2026: The Reserve Bank of India has released the admit card for the preliminary examination for the Assistant recruitment. Candidates can now visit the official website, rbi.org.in, to download their admit cards. This admit card was issued on April 2, 2026, and the examination is scheduled to be held on April 11, 2026.

**Recruitment Exam Being Conducted for 650 Vacancies**
This recruitment drive is being conducted for a total of 650 Assistant posts, involving lakhs of candidates from across the country. To download their admit cards, candidates will be required to enter their registration number, password/date of birth.

The admit card contains important information related to the examination, such as the exam date, shift timings, and the address of the examination center. Candidates are advised to carefully verify all the details and contact the RBI immediately in case of any discrepancies.

**How ​​Will the Selection Be Made?**
The selection process will consist of three stages: the Preliminary Examination (Prelims), the Main Examination (Mains), and the Language Proficiency Test (LPT). The Preliminary Examination will be conducted in an online mode.

**RBI Assistant Exam Pattern**
According to the exam pattern, the Prelims will comprise a total of 100 questions, carrying a maximum of 100 marks. This includes sections on English Language (30 questions), Numerical Ability (35 questions), and Reasoning Ability (35 questions). The total duration of the examination will be 60 minutes, and a negative marking of 1/4th of a mark will be applicable for every incorrect answer.

For entry into the examination center, candidates must carry a printed copy of their admit card along with a valid photo identity proof, such as an Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, or Voter ID. Additionally, it is essential to carry a passport-sized photograph and a photocopy of the ID proof.

The RBI has clarified that admit cards will not be sent via postal mail; therefore, all candidates must download them online. Candidates are advised to download their admit cards well in advance of the examination and ensure that they are fully prepared for the exam day.
